Yes there is a Deaf Professional barber/stylist in Frederick his name is Paul Dymoke. I believe DeafNation did a story on him two or three years ago. Also there is a lady here in Frederick Joette Paulone who has license and cuts hair in people's homes...side job.

You did very good, I gotta try it and save approx $13 every two months.
You asked about deaf barbers, I remember one clip on DeafNation website....Joel or Jeb interviews him. It should still be there somewhere....I don't remember his name and his location.
Now that I know of you, I'll keep in mind to stop by Fredrick, MD and get haircut next time I go through there! I enjoyed the response I got to this vlog :).
LOL, you did a good job by your own styled haircutting that saves $$$! I've no problem @ Cuttery's to order how I wanted to trim my hair by picking the hairy pictured book to point it. Nice head shampooed message! Easy going.
Never forget, my father when I was little forced me to haircut to be my flat hair w/vaseline all over just like my Dad did looking like our twins, I hated and washed it off. He pissed off and sent me my punished bedroom crying! Cuz it was my own hair! Good luck for your future deaf barber! Cut, cut, cut. Enjoy your new hairdo. Happy Holidays, HO HO HO.
I am female I do it myself too I use 1 inch comb. Also it sure save a lot of time. Not just time it save MONEY! I paid mine for about 30 dollars talk about how many years that shave last... Compare to how many times going to barber spend a lot of money!.. Speak of 2nd mirror thank you for remind me I keep on forgetting get 2nd mirror everytime I go to store. Thank god I live with somebody I ask them to check back for me.. PFFT I can do it myself. You mention about make mistake and hair grow. I did make mistake few times and yes hair grow also I learn from my mistake this takes practice!
Unique post, Adrian. Fun to watch. You have lots of confidence!
My husband bought me one of those barber shavers for Christmas about 5 years ago so I could give him and my son hair cuts and save us money. While it wasn't a very romantic gift, and I'm not sure if the gift was really for me or for him (wink), I have used it a bunch and my husband and son have not returned to a barber since i got that gift.
So, I guess my husband chose the right gift. Hope it's a diamond ring this year! Ha!
The truth I please me to see your hair and asi is so wonderful. I congratulate you by you have made it manual of haircuts. Eb My deaf brother works in the hairdressing salon in Seville Spain, is the same like your. I would like to speak with you... Merry Christmas. ;-)
Haha...very cool barber!!! One of my friend whom i met on deafromance.com told me that she love you lovely guy! So humorous! So I come here and read your vblog! Love your style!
yeah, i do like my own barber ever since about 12 yrs and save me about 8 to 15 dollars each time. i do mostly cut short, keep simple and not to worry about comb.. honest with u i dont comb pretty much, i like clean short hair rather looks fashion hair..
Hey..Good story..I agree about saving money on barber/beauty shop. Today they charge just for haircut between 15 to 45 dollars. It is too much. I own haircutter machine and my partner and I cut our hair. Yes, it sure feels good to feel so clean and light. When I was kid, I remember there was a barber shop where the deaf man owned in Bessember, Al. Lot of deafies went there. Plus deafies and hearies from the town went to Alabama School for the Deaf where they had barber shop that students could cut people's hair.

Here I am that real Deaf Barber! I can be seen at DeafNation under people as Barber Clown. I work in Frederick, Md
Hey BarberClown,
Now that I know of you, I'll keep in mind to stop by Fredrick, MD and get haircut next time I go through there! I enjoyed the response I got to this vlog :).
Cheers, Adrian
I do cut my own hair...it really saves time of going to the barbershop and waiting.
I need to get a second mirror though as I'm still dependent on others to do my back edge trimming.
That was fun vlog to watch!
Hi Adrian,
I know one Deaf Canadian man who used to be a hairdresser. Alas, he lives in Edmonton rather than Toronto, so you might want to fly to Alberta LOL
Shelley
You're so cute! Like your haircut!
Happy CHRISTmas!
