I remember seeing and telling that deaf tree joke to my friends whenever I could as a child :) Among a few others. The sad thing was that most of these jokes, i would learn from my interpreter as I really did not have access to that much back then, other than my best friend Ann Marie, who was the person who taught me ASL. Burnaby South was pretty much my first time being around that many deaf students, especially ASL signers. I still need and want to improve my ASL skills, which is currently not so great due to lack of use. However, i recently developed a friendship with a local deaf girl who I really like. So for the first time ever since Ann Marie [we stopped being friends after grade seven so that's about 15 years ago!], I will have a local ASL signer to communicate with on a regular basis, hopefully that will help me improve.

Anyway, I'm enjoying your vlogs, and watching you sign is truly a pleasure. I especially loved the vlogs where you did the "King & King" story!
